Mandatory Face Covering Ordinance
On Tuesday, July 7, 2020 the Blaine County Commissioners passed an ordinance making face coverings mandatory. Section 1 of the ordinance reads, “Every person shall wear a face covering that completely covers the person’s nose and mouth when the person is in a public place and others are present.” Exceptions to the mandate include children under 5 and persons with medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a face covering (for other exceptions see https://www.co.blaine.id.us/DocumentCenter/View/12225/mask-ordinance).
In order to comply with this ordinance, we are asking that everyone wear a face covering when attending worship services or bible studies here at Calvary Bible Church. Extra masks and hand sanitizer are available on the table at the entrance to the foyer.
Thanks for your understanding in this matter. As we seek to navigate these challenging days let’s keep the Apostle Paul’s admonition in Ephesians 4:1-3 in mind, “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
